Program Director

We are looking for an experienced Program Director to supervise a range of educational and outreach programs that align with In-Sight’s mission. The Program Director is responsible for the delivery and overall success of each program. The Program Director also supervises the Programming Coordinator and informs management on progress and performance. The Program Director is essential to In-Sight’s success and is part of a professional team that strives to work collaboratively with other staff and the board of directors. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Initiating and setting goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization

  • Planning the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones, and processes

  • Assist Executive Director in developing or approving budgets and operations

Americorps VYDC Member

The VYDC In-Sight Youth Programs AmeriCorps member promotes In-Sight’s mission by providing direct services to youth; engaging in activities and projects to foster community engagement; and creating curricula and teaching. The member recruits & trains volunteer teachers; promotes programs in the community via material development, marketing, and strategic use of social media. The member organizes youth photography exhibits, participates in non-federal fundraising events to support member-led programs, and identifies potential collaborations with partner organizations. The member uses existing & develops new databases to track alumni & volunteers, as well as enhance systems for class registration, program evaluation & feedback, equipment usage, and inventory.
