School & Nonprofit Programs and Partnerships

What is a partnership program?

Since 1992, In-Sight has been serving our community by offering classes to youth on a pay what you can scale.  For many years, In-Sight mostly served youth at our facility downtown, but our partnership programming helps us to meet every student where they are.  Through these program partnerships we can bring photography to a school’s campus as well as other nonprofits that serve youth.

Many organizations that we partner with provide a classroom helper who knows the youth involved to ensure that their needs are met and the class is able to be a productive learning environment - one rich with fun and deep conversations.

Types of programs

These classes are typically offered for free to the students, and we provide all equipment as well as a basic lesson of manual settings, cyanotypes, collages, and group collaboration! We always provide students with up to five prints at the end of each session.

Cost

The cost of ongoing programs and workshops is based on a sliding scale that takes into account direct and indirect costs of In-Sight providing the program. We are able to provide some of these programs in a radically financially accessible way thanks to generous donors and grants, depending on the demographics of the community served! We are also happy to collaboratively fundraise to make these programs possible, as needed.

Past Partners Include

Academy School, Brattleboro Area Middle School, Kindle Farm School, Root Social Justice Center, Youth Services, Boys and Girls Club, Guilford Central School, Stoneleigh Burnham School, and more!
